Omnissa certification path (redesigned 2024)

Omnissa launched an entirely redesigned, career-track-based certification program in 2024 following incorporation:

1. Omnissa Certified Administrator (OCA) — Entry-to-intermediate. Core administration and operations skills. Two tracks: OCA-W (Workspace ONE) and OCA-H (Horizon). Entry: None (no mandatory training as of Sept 2025). Valid: 3 years.

2. Omnissa Certified Engineer (OCE) — Professional/intermediate. Advanced design and troubleshooting at enterprise scale. Two tracks: OCE-W and OCE-H. Entry: OCA in same track or current/unexpired OCP/VCP. Valid: 3 years.

Prerequisites and eligibility

Candidates must hold one of the following to be eligible for the OCE-W exam:

OCP and VCP credentials remain valid prerequisites through their expiration dates, even after being retired from new exam registration. As of September 2025, no training courses are mandatory for OCE eligibility; candidates may sit based on experience and self-study alone.

Time management: The 120-minute exam allows approximately 1.5 minutes per question. Allocate time efficiently: skim all questions first, answer confident questions quickly, then return to difficult ones. Flag ambiguous questions for review in the remaining time.
