Certification naming transition (2026): Fortinet is transitioning from "NSE 4" nomenclature to "FCP in Secure Network" (formerly "FCP in Network Security" pre-October 2025). The exam code remains NSE4_FGT_AD for backward compatibility. Effective July 15, 2026, older FCP, FCSS, and FCX names are retiring in favor of NSE 1–8 naming structure. This certification will rebrand to NSE 4 in Secure Network post-July 2026. As of May 2026, both naming conventions are valid.
